SDS Plus hammer drill bits sizes 12.0 x 160mm – 16.0 x 1000mm

Armeg’s QFDS SDS plus hammer drill bits are the most cost effective and faster solution for producing holes in masonry. They are perfect for heavy duty drilling and for drilling holes with a large diameter and when you need to drill deep holes in really hard masonry materials.

Hammer Grade Carbide Tip

These tips are much stronger and drill far more holes than the average drill bit because they are made from tungsten carbide.

Tungsten Carbide is the second strongest material in existence. It has a grade of number 9 on Mohs scale of hardness, and diamond has a grade of 10.

They will also have a longer lifespan and most importantly these SDS bits will save you money in the longer term.

Copper Brazed to 1100oc

Copper braze is a specialised material that connects the shanks and tips through a specialised furnace brazing process, giving the strongest possible bonding between the shank and the tip of the drill bit.

This really strong bonding means that these SDS plus bits can withstand greater pressure, higher temperatures and the tips are far less likely to break off during use.

Precision Machining

These drill bits are precision machined so that the tips are accurate and the entire drill bit is strong enough to do the work you need it for.

Precise Tip Alignment

The SDS Plus Bits have their tips fitted and secured using machinery made for this exact job, making certain that every drill bit is as accurate as the first and they are all the same. Every drill bit has a perfectly centralised tip which is consistently accurate and will always create rounder holes.

SDS Plus are best for drilling into or through:

  • Heavy duty concrete
  • General concrete
  • Hard bricks
  • Soft bricks
  • Lightweight blocks
  • Natural stone
  • Constructional granite
  • Limestone

SDS Plus are perfect to drill holes for:

  • Fixings and anchors
  • Creating through holes for cables and wires
  • Drilling through holes for pipes
  • Drilling pilot holes for coring
  • Many different aspects of property maintenance
