This FFP3 disposable respirator comes in boxes of five masks. FFP3 provides a higher filtration class than FFP2, so consider this option when your risk assessment calls for FFP3 protection.

How to Choose the Right Respiratory Protection

Before choosing a respirator, think about these four points:

• The material: Cutting concrete, masonry and wood can release different airborne particles. Identify the hazards before choosing your protection.
• The level of protection: FFP2 and FFP3 respirators have different filtration classes. Follow your risk assessment when selecting the right type.
• Fit and comfort: A respirator needs a good seal to provide its intended protection. Facial hair around the sealing area can affect the fit.
• The working environment: Consider how long the task will take, how well the area is ventilated and whether you need other protective equipment.

Important: Disposable respirators do not protect against gases or vapours, and they are not suitable for every airborne hazard. Choose protection for the specific risk, follow the manufacturer’s instructions and meet the relevant workplace safety requirements.
